Since our inception, MikeTango has had a special relationship with a number of associations & agencies, non-governmental organizations and aboriginal groups. We have worked with local, provincial, national and international organizations, and our understanding of the unique needs of this community runs deep.

We understand that the leadership of these organizations are keen to meet their objectives, and are committed to making their organizations a success. The criteria for measuring these successes vary, depending on whether the current primary objective is to grow membership, increase services to members, affect policy on behalf of constituents, etc.

Countering these leaders’ drive to meet their objectives, though, is the stark reality of the challenges of leading organizations in today’s business climate. We understand that budgets are fixed and, unlike in the private sector, “driving more business” does not typically lead to increased funding. This means that being successful comes from working smarter, managing costs better and making sure you maximize the value for your dollar.

Added to the reality of limited, unchanging budgets is the challenge of managing through the constraints of staffing levels and skillsets, available resources, regulatory and other “fixed obstacles”, etc. Most leaders inherit a staff and resources that may not best match the requirements of their businesses going forward.

At MikeTango, we are intimately familiar with the these obstacles and know how to turn challenges into successes.
